Fixture

The Spartans were playing Croesyceiliog RFC on the Canal Fields. The first ten minutes of the first half saw Croesy with all the ball, with their flanker putting two quick tries past the Spartans.  The Spartans came back into the game with lots of possesion and came back with two tries of their own and then a penalty try in the dieing seconds of the first half, half time Spartans 21, Croesy 19.  The second half seen the Spartans with most of the ball, with a superb defensive line when Croesy managed to get their hands on the ball, the Spartans put another 5 tries over the line but Croesy were not finished and managed to put a converted try in in the last seconds of the match. A comfortable win for the Spartans but with a lot of handling errors from them. Full time Spartans 45, Croesy 26.
