Fixture

The Spartans travelled away to a miserable wet Dowlais ground, after a defeat last week what could they do!  1st half was full of fight, plenty of aggression and attacking play with great defense when needed.  The 1st try going to the Spartans with Will Davey flying down the right side line and putting it down in the corner. 10 minutes more attacking play, with some good handling and passing and Leland scores a try in the centre, with Nye converting to take a 12-0 lead.  A lapse in defense allowed Dowlais to score a try and the half finished 12-5 to the Spartans.  2nd half the Spartans continued with their heads up playing good attacking rugby, again with a great defense when needed, with some more good handling and passes the ball got to Luke and he managed to barge is way through the Dowlais defense to score the 3rd try.  More attacking play with the ball going to Leland and he found the gaps in the Dowlais defence to score again under the post, with Nye hitting the post when converting, end of game with a Spartans win 22-5.  The coaches would like to thank everyone for the effort they put in today, especially Lewis Howells for playing 3 different positions throughout the game and Jac for his defensive tackling as Full back.
